Rachele opened the door to reveal "home". Not like she spent any time here. Ever. The apartment was small and severely lacking furniture. A worn down couch doubling as a bed slumped in the corner, blankets strewn messily over the futon's pull out. A mall black and white television was left on across from the "bed", black and white static signifying that her cable had been shut off. Not the electricity, she noticed, as the light switch still worked. The carpet was frayed and old, as well as the paint on the wall. In the other corner of the apartment was the kitchen- a refrigerator and a card table with a dirty plate balancing on its unstable frame. An eerie glow emitted from the bathroom, another light left on.
Rachele's calico kitten Lucy pawed into the room, meowing loudly and motioning to a small metal bowl in the corner. An empty food dish.
Rachele stumbled into the room and sat on the couch. She laughed loudly and shook her hair.
"I don't bring guys here. But since you're a dickhead, special boy, you can come. Not like you haven't seen my shithole of a life before."
For a second, a sadness flickered in her eyes, but was quickly replaced by bright blue electricity. Typical Rachele- hide everything.

Evan shut the door behind him and chuckled. "Yeah you used to always come to m--" He stopped in mid sentence, his eyes moving from Rachele to Lucy. "Long time no see, Lucy," he said with a small smile. This probably wasn't the best time to bring up memories from way back when. He walked into the kitchen, looking through the cabinets for the cat food. Hey, it was something to do to avoid the awkward silence that was sure to follow his mid sentence stop.
Finding the cat food, Evan poured some into the bowl. He set the bag on the counter before re-entering the "living room". He slipped his hands into his pockets as he stood diagonally from the couch. "You need anything? Food, water...?" |

Rachele stared at the peeling paint. Trying not to remember everything that was in the past. But she felt the memories streaming into her head.
She kicked her feet against the couch and stood up.
"I can get-"
Mid-sentence, she felt herself swooning. Black spots appeared in her vision and Rachele felt her legs crumpling beneath her. Maybe that last drink wasn't such a good idea-- |

Evan watched closely as Rach got up. "Maybe that's not a good idea..." He mumbled, his hands slipping out of his pockets just in case she were to fall.

She laughed. What was up with all the fucking laughing? Everything just seemed so fucking funny to her.

Evan smiled as she laughed. He shook his head as he headed for the kitchen.
"What do you want?" He called from the frigerador that might as well have been empty. There was some milk, bread, juice, and what looked like cheese? Interesting...

She sat on the couch and found her blue eyes staring at the static on the television screen. Black and white blizzards. |

Evan tapped his fingers on the fridge for a moment before pulling out the juice. He poured it into a glass and returned it to the fridge. Water works best to help sober someone up after a night of drinking but he couldn't find any, juice will just have to do. He walked back out to where Rach was sitting...And staring at the fuzzy TV. He chuckled silently to himself as he handed her the glass. "You don't have any food," he stated simply. |

"I hate shopping," she said, reaching for the glass and taking a small sip. "I fucking hate it more than anything, so I don't do it."
She leaned back in the couch and pulled her knees to her chest, her eyes following Evan's movements. |

Evan smiled slightly as he sat down next to her. "So that's why I always did the shopping like a little whipped panzy," he said, his smile getting a little bigger by the second. |
